Initial Franchise Fee
The initial franchisee fee will depend on which Cleaning Doctor option you are investing in. It ranges from £10,450 for our entry level option to £27,500 for our top level package. The cost differences are due to the different amounts of equipment and training required for each options. However, be rest assured, the equipment and training is comprehensive, whatever the option. Detail will be discussed when we have our first significant discusion.

Borrowing
If financing is necessary the high street banks will usually require you to provide a minimum personal investment, for example £6,000, before they consider financing the remainder: typical £6 – 12K, depending on the franchise cost and your personal circumstances. A sound business plan will be required by most lenders.

Reserve / Working Capital
We also suggest that you have a reserve of £3 - 6K for operating expenses until your business is up and running.

Monthly Fees
Our fixed-fee, management support services are a great benefit to our franchisee. The more franchisees earn, the more they retain. We do not set unrealistic targets.

Franchise companies usually charge a monthly royalty fee, which is typically a percentage of gross sales; for example 9% to 15% of gross sales. At Cleaning Doctor we believe that the percentage route is not really a fair system. We charge a fixed monthly fee, which is a Management Services Fee (MSF). We know that Cleaning Doctor franchisees are comfortable in the knowledge that the more they earn the more they keep (less, of course, tax, which the Government will require). The simplified MSF payment also ensures that franchisees do not have to submit heavy financial statements to head office every month.
