I was busy from the start

The training was very interesting and everything was explained in detail. It was a lot to take in, but once I started hands-on, doing the job, it all made perfect sense. In preparation for the launch of the business I placed adverts in local newspapers and in the telephone directory, and distributed 20,000 brochures. I had the option of using the Cleaning Doctor Roadshow, but I was busy from the start and didn't need it.

I was nervous when I did my first job but with the training and top of the range equipment it is very easy. Plus you have the ongoing support of Cleaning Doctor head office. The training is ongoing; last year I attended four courses, which I found very useful and which gave me the opportunity to meet other franchisees. There is always an expert on hand to explain new developments in the industry.

Within a year and a half the business turned over 92 thousand. This year I have even more domestic customers and secured more commercial contracts.

Hello,

My name is Kevin Jarvis and I've been a Cleaning Doctor Franchisee in Norfolk for 4 months now. I had been self-employed for over 10 years running my own catering business but I was ready for a change and boy did I make a change!

Franchising ticked all my boxes. Backup, support, a proven system, Cleaning Doctor had it all.

I looked at franchising as, after being on my own for years, I found the idea of still being my own boss and still owning a business but having the comfort of a large company to back me up really appealing. 
After in-depth research I chose to become a Cleaning Doctor Franchisee, this business could be not be more different from what I was doing but to be honest I love it!
This was a completely new industry to me but the training given and information supplied is so comprehensive that when you launch you are so well informed and well equipped that the confidence soon flows!

In my first week of trading I was working and banking money.

To prove the point, my first week back from training the phone was ringing and I was doing jobs, clients think I've been at this for years as the brand is so strong.

For me the best parts of this business are getting paid at the end of each job, which is obviously great for cash flow, the satisfaction I feel when the client is thrilled at the results and recommends me to their friends and family and I'm loving working from home and not having the cost of a premises to worry about. But it is having complete control over my diary that I am really enjoying the most! For example, my daughter’s sports day this year was the first one I have been able to go to and it was great!!!

Everywhere I go I see vast potential. It’s brilliant.

To sum up, the backup from head office is great, exactly what I was looking for, and the marketing of my business is so advanced that I over shadow the competitors easily, keeping my phone ringing!
Now I have been active a while I'm starting to realize how vast the market place is, and how, everywhere I go I see more and more potential customers!
